The lab complex

I've struggled to get much time for blogging recently, but I wanted to assure my hordes of loyal readers (anyone?) that I've still been hard at work with hobby stuff.

With that in mind, although I've got a couple of longer posts planned for "whenever I can get enough time to sit at the computer", here's a little teaser - the table set up ready for tonight's planned Flashbang game between Pete and Kieron.

Kieron's criminal gang has taken hostages in a high tech lab's office building (a converted 18th century hotel). A SWAT team under Pete's command is on the way to attempt a breach...

Expect a full report on this game when I eventually get the chance to write it!

  2. The buildings look fabulous, may I ask where they are from?

    1. Thanks very much! The central building is the Grand Stone Hotel from 4ground - I'll be posting a review of that at some point soon.

On the right of the picture, the three red brick buildings are from Sarissa Precision's Citybloc range. They come unpainted but have removeable floors (although I've left one floor off each building for this game). The little garage at the back left is a free cardstock one but I can't remember where it came from now! I'm slowly phasing out cardstock in my collection - it fills a table easily but doesn't look as good to me and isn't as versatile.

    1. Also coming together nicely! I'm going to cover that in my battle report, but I feel like I'm getting close to finalising things now. The basic mechanics are pretty much there, I'm just sorting out some balance issues.
